Moldova Acceding to the Amending Protocol to the CIS Mutual Assistance Agreement

Moldova will accede to the amending protocol to the CIS Mutual Assistance Agreement on 21 February 2021, which follows the country's deposit of its notification of accession on 25 January 2021. The protocol includes amendments regarding the electronic exchange of information for tax purposes and was signed on 2 November 2018 by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Belarus acceded to the amending protocol to the CIS Mutual Assistance Agreement on 2 October 2020. Other CIS member states that have not yet acceded to the protocol include Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
