On 1 July 2014, Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri signed the law ratifying the pending income and capital tax treaty with Saudi Arabia. The treaty was signed 7 May 2013, and is the first of its kind between the two countries. The treaty was approved for ratification by Saudi Arabia on 31 March 2014. Taxes Covered The treaty covers Saudi Zakat and income tax, including the natural gas investment tax.
