Luxembourg has published in the Official Gazette the Law of 17 April 2018 for the ratification of the pending income and capital tax treaty with Cyprus. The treaty, signed 8 May 2017 ({News-2017-06-16/T/6-previous coverage}), is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
