The Luxembourg Administration of Direct Tax has published Circular L.G. - A n° 60bis/8 of 16 January 2023, which provides the EUR reference exchange rates for over 30 foreign currencies for 2022. The exchange rates are provided by the European Central Bank and include the year-end and average exchange rates for the year, including conversion to and from EUR. The reference rates are used in relation to Circular L.G. - A n° 60, which concerns the tax treatment of accounts kept in a foreign currency.
