On 21 November 2024, Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies approved the ratification of the pending income and capital tax treaty with Albania, which was signed on 14 January 2009. The Chamber of Deputies also approved the ratification of the pending protocol to the tax treaty, which was signed on 21 October 2020 and includes amendments to bring the treaty in line with the minimum BEPS standards as well as certain other changes.
