The Kyrgyzstan State Tax Service has issued a release announcing the launch of an online service (vat.salyk.kg) for the VAT registration of foreign providers of electronic services. From 1 January 2022, foreign organizations providing electronic services in Kyrgyzstan without using a domain name or IP address registered in Kyrgyzstan are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 12%. The online service allows a foreign organization providing electronic services to register as a VAT taxpayer, obtain an identification tax number, and access their taxpayer account.
