The Kyrgyzstan parliament is reportedly considering a draft law that would extend the simplified tax option to all large, medium, and small enterprises in response to COVID-19. Under the simplified tax regime, corporate income tax, sales tax, and VAT are replaced with the single simplified tax. Currently, the simplified tax regime is only available for enterprises below the VAT registration threshold of KGS 30 million. Enterprises opting for the simplified tax regime would be switched over on the first day of the month following the month in which the application of the regime is submitted.
