Kosovo published Law No. 08/L-263 in the Official Gazette on 11 June 2024, which provides for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with the Netherlands. The agreement, signed 17 September 2020, will enter into force on the first day of the fourth month after the ratification instruments are exchanged. The 1977 social security agreement between the Netherlands and the former Yugoslavia was previously applied in relations between Kosovo and the Netherlands but was terminated with effect from 1 January 2020.
