According to a release from Kosovo's Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, officials from Austria and Kosovo met on 30 June 2020 to discuss the management of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Kosovo's readiness to work towards reaching a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
