The Jersey Government has launched a consultation on the taxation of transactions involving "enveloped" property, which includes the introduction of law changes in order to impose a tax charge on certain transactions involving the transfer of Jersey real estate that are currently outside the scope of both the Stamp Duty Law and the Land Transactions Tax Law.
