According to recent reports, Jamaica has enacted amendments to the Revenue Administration Act for the implementation of the automatic exchange of financial account information in line with the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). To complete the implementation of CRS and begin automatic exchange, Jamaica must sign and ratify the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (MCAA), and exchange relationships under the MCAA with other signatories must be activated.
