On 19 June 2019, the Italian Council of Ministers approved the laws for the ratification and execution of the pending tax treaties with China and Uruguay. The new tax treaty between China, signed 23 March 2019, will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
