Officials from India and Nigeria met from 17 to 18 November 2024 to discuss bilateral relations, including the commitment to conclude negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
