The Hungarian government has issued a release on the call for action by the Minister of EU Affairs against Bulgaria's new energy contribution (tax) on Russian natural gas, which is levied at a rate of EUR 10 per megawatt hour on the import or transit in Bulgaria of Russian natural gas, with the exception of compressed natural gas transported in storage containers.
