The Honduras Revenue Administration (SAR) has announced the launch of the new "Virtual Office", a platform designed to simplify and improve the taxpayer experience that reduces the time needed to complete tax obligations. This includes registration, return filing, tax payment, and other functions. The current system will be replaced by the new Virtual Office on 3 June 2024. With the transition, all tax procedures can be managed completely online, which will be further enhanced in September 2024 with the implementation of digital signatures.
