According to recent reports, the Head of the Tax Policy Unit at Ghana's Ministry of Finance, Daniel Nuer, has announced that the Ministry is working on the introduction of income tax treaties with several countries, with negotiations ongoing for tax treaties with Egypt, Hungary, Israel, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. Any resulting treaties will be the first of their kind between Ghana and the respective countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
