The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is providing certain tax relief for taxpayers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes an extension of due dates for filing taxes (tax returns) from 4 months to 6 months after the end of the basis year (i.e., an extension from 30 April to 30 June for the 2019 calendar tax year), and the remission of penalties on principal debts for taxpayers that settle their outstanding debts by 30 June 2020.
