The Finnish Tax Administration has published updated guidance on the Taxation of certain cross-border hybrid arrangements. The guidance, first published in July 2020, covers the application of the hybrid mismatch rules introduced by the Act on the Taxation of Certain Hybrid Cross-Border Arrangements (Law 1567/2019), which are in line with the EU Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive. The updated version provides additional guidance regarding the application of the reverse hybrid mismatch rule that was subsequently introduced with effect from 1 January 2022.
