The Finnish Tax Administration has announced that due to the COVID-19 situation, the deadline for companies to file their tax return is being extended. Normally due within four months after the end of the fiscal year, returns can now be filed within five months. The extension applies for companies with a December 2020 fiscal year end, meaning that returns must be submitted by 31 May 2021. No application is needed for the extension and no late filing penalties will be imposed.
