The Finnish government has issued a release on a proposal to introduce cost support for companies whose turnover has fallen significantly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The aid is intended to cover the fixed costs and wage costs of companies that are difficult to adjust. The cost support is to be available for up to two months for all companies meeting the fall in turnover conditions, except for banks and insurance companies and companies covered by equity financing by the state-owned company private equity firm Tesi.
