European Commissioner Responds to U.S. Treasury's Concerns that State Aid Investigations are Targeting U.S. Multinationals

In a letter dated 29 February 2016, European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager responded to U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew's concerns that EU State aid investigations are targeting U.S. multinationals ({News-2016-02-16/A/3- previous coverage}). In short, Vestager denies that the European Commission is specifically targeting U.S. companies.
