Ethiopia published the Investment Regulation No. 474/2020 in the Official Gazette on 2 September. The regulation is effective from the date of publication and provides rules for the implementation of the Investment Proclamation No. 1180/2020, which was issued to improve the investment environment in Ethiopia including the further opening of areas for foreign investment ({News-2020-04-16/A/7-previous coverage}).
