El Salvador's Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing that the Legislative Assembly has approved Decree No. 112, which provides a further extension of the tax amnesty program introduced 27 October 2017. The program, which provides relief from interest, surcharges, and penalties ({News-2017-11-13/A/3-previous coverage}), was initially to apply for a period of 90 days but has been extended multiple times and is now set to expire 30 September 2018.
