El Salvador's Ministry of Finance has published Decree No. 09 of 5 June 2018, which provides a further extension of the tax amnesty program introduced 27 October 2017. The program, which provides relief from interest, surcharges, and penalties ({News-2017-11-13/A/3-previous coverage}), was initially to apply for a period of 90 days but has been extended multiple times and is now set to 31 expire August 2018.
