East Timor Signs Multilateral Social Security Agreement between Portuguese Language Countries

East Timor-Brazil-Cape Verde-Mozambique-Portugal-Sao Tome

According to a release from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), East Timor (Timor-Leste) signed the Multilateral Agreement on Social Security of the CPLP on 24 June 2019. The agreement, which was first opened for signature in July 2015, has also been signed by Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Portugal, and Sao Tome and Principe. Other members of the CPLP that have not yet signed include Angola, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
