The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has announced its recent approval of an extension of the temporary increase in the duty-free (exemption) threshold to EUR 1,000 (or 31 kg) for goods that are imported by individuals for personal use. The exemption was previously scheduled to expire on 1 October 2022 and is now extended to 1 April 2023 (up to 31 March 2023). In addition to the increased exemption threshold extension, the ECC has also announced its decision to extend zero rates of import customs duties and tariff exemptions for certain critical imports from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023....
