The Dutch Ministry of Finance issued a release on 19 February 2025 regarding the status of its tax treaty network, which currently includes in force tax treaties with 98 countries. The release also notes its tax treaty negotiation plans. This includes that the Netherlands will negotiate tax treaties with 11 countries in 2025, namely: Aruba, Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Ecuador, Mozambique, Portugal, Romania, Suriname, Sweden, and Uganda.
