Dutch Ministry of Finance Announces Tax Treaty Negotiation Plans for 2022

A release from the Dutch Ministry of Finance has been published regarding the tax treaty negotiation plans for 2022. This includes that the Netherlands intends to continue talks with: Belgium; Brazil; Kyrgyzstan; Morocco; Moldova; Mozambique; Uganda; Portugal; Russia; Sri Lanka; and United Arab Emirates. The Netherlands also intends to start (re)negotiations with: Bahrain; Barbados; Rwanda; and Suriname. Further, within the Kingdom, the Netherlands is committed to starting talks for the adjustment of the tax scheme with Sint Maarten.
