On 22 October 2020, the Czech Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the ratification of the pending tax treaties with Bangladesh, Botswana, and Kyrgyzstan. The income tax treaty with Bangladesh was signed on 11 December 2019 and is the first of its kind between the two countries.
