Fatmir Bitici, North Macedonia's deputy prime minister for economic affairs, and his Croatian counterpart, Oleg Butković, discussed a possible update to their countries’ tax treaty during a September 26 meeting in Zagreb, according to a release published by the North Macedonian government. This would be the first amendment to the treaty, which was signed May 6, 1994, in Zagreb and has been in effect since January 1, 1997.
