Burkina Faso's General Director of Taxes has issued a statement regarding the launch of the "e-liasse" platform for the electronic submission of tax returns, which complements the e-sintax platform. Given the issues in launching the new e-liasse platform, taxpayers are still allowed to submit physical returns for the 2020 tax year. However, taxpayers registered with the Directorate of Large Enterprises and the Directorate of Medium Enterprise that submit physical returns are still required to submit electronic returns via the platform by 30 June 2021.
