Bulgaria's National Assembly (parliament) is currently considering the draft bill for the implementation of the measures of Council Directive (EU) 2018/822 of 25 May 2018 (DAC6) on reportable cross-border tax planning arrangements. The draft was submitted by the government on 14 November 2019 and is largely unchanged from the version consulted on in October ({News-2019-10-16/P/2-previous coverage}). Subject to approval by the National Assembly, the requirements to report arrangements will enter into force on 1 July 2020.
