The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a release on its extraordinary session held on 16 April 2020, which includes decisions taken. With respect to taxation, this includes the decision to exempt from indirect tax, equipment and resources granted by both domestic and foreign entities for the needs of prevention, containing and removal of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemics. Further, this exemption is extended to medicines and sanitary goods. It is also noted that indirect tax already paid on such goods and equipment will be refunded.
