Belarus Approves SSA between Eurasian Economic Union Member States

On 4 June 2020, the Belarus House of Representatives (lower house of parliament) approved for ratification the pending multilateral social security agreement between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The EAEU agreement, signed 20 December 2019, implements certain social security related provisions of the 2014 Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. The EAEU member states include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
