On 19 June 2019, the Belarus House of Representatives approved the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Estonia. The agreement, signed 7 December 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force on the first day of the seventh month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from that date.
