Officials from Bangladesh and Kosovo met to discuss bilateral relations during an official visit to Kosovo from 13 to 16 March 2022 by the Bangladesh ambassador to Germany. During the meeting, the two sides expressed their interest in the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
