The German Ministry of Finance has announced the signing of an agreement on the treatment of cross-border workers. The agreement was signed on 4 April 2019 by Germany and 9 April 2019 by Austria. The agreement provides for the uniform application and interpretation of the provisions of Article 15(6) (Dependent Personal Services) of the 2000 income and capital tax treaty between the two countries in respect of cross-border workers.
