Austria's Ministry of Finance has published a release announcing that the deadlines for filing annual returns in respect of the 2019 tax year have been extended to 31 August 2020. This extension is provided for the annual corporate income tax returns, annual income individual tax return, and the annual turnover tax (VAT) return. The release also reminds taxpayers that other tax relief can be applied for, including a reduction of advance payments, non-imposition of late-payment surcharges as well as comprehensive payment facilitations (deferral, payment in instalments).
