According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Austria met 30 October 2018 to discuss bilateral relations, including the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Discussions for a tax treaty first began in 2016 but have not progressed. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
