On 4 October 2023, Albanian President Bajram Begaj promulgated the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Montenegro. The agreement, signed 27 February 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
