The Trump administration has reached agreements with Canada and Mexico to pause the recently announced additional tariffs on imports from the two countries for a period of one month. The executive orders for additional tariffs were issued on 1 February 2025, including a 25% additional tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and a 10% additional tariff on imports from China to take effect on 4 February 2025.
