Venezuela republished the Constitutional Wealth Tax Law in the Official Gazette on 16 August 2019 including several amendments. The Law, originally published 3 July 2019, introduced a new non-deductible wealth tax on individuals with net wealth (assets) in excess of 36 million tax units and legal entities with assets in excess of 100 million tax units, with an initial wealth tax rate of 0.25% ({News-2019-07-18/A/4-previous coverage}).
