The Qatar tax administration has reportedly begun sending letters directly to global advisors (Big 4) and resident constituent entities of MNE groups, saying that no local filing of Country-by-Country (CbC) reports is required in respect of the 2017 reporting fiscal year. However, this exemption from filing is subject to the condition that a CbC report has been filed by the group in another jurisdiction.
