According to an update from the Czech Ministry of Finance, the new income tax treaty between the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates entered into force on 29 May 2024 (previous coverage). It was previously indicated that the treaty entered into force on 13 May 2024. The new treaty, signed 24 May 2023, applies from 1 January 2025 and replaces the 1996 tax treaty between the two countries.
