The Ukraine Parliament is considering Draft Law 6548, which was submitted on 25 January 2022 and provides for the introduction of a consolidated income tax that would essentially replace the current income tax, social security contribution, and military tax. The consolidated tax would be implemented with initial higher rates as follows: 29% in the period 1 January to 31 December 2023; 26% in the period 1 January to 31 December 2024; 23% in the period 1 January to 31 December 2025; and 20% from 1 January 2026. As drafted, the law would enter into force on 1 January 2023.
