The UAE Ministry of Finance has published information on its intention to introduce eInvoicing requirements in 2026, which will be mandatory for B2B and B2G transactions. The high-level timeline for the introduction of the requirements includes developing the accreditation requirements and procedures for service providers in Q4 2024, updating the required legislation for mandatory eInvoicing in Q2 2025, and going live with the first phase of the eInvoicing requirements in Q2 2026.
