The U.S. Department of the Treasury has announced the release of a white paper, Return on Investment: Re-Examining Revenue Estimates for IRS Funding, which looks at revenue increases resulting from investments in the IRS under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The paper finds that previous estimates did not present a complete picture of the revenue benefits of investment benefits IRA Strategic Operating Plan (SOP).
