Turkey has set the monthly social security contribution basis limits for private sector employees in 2025. The minimum basis has been set to TRY 26,005.50 and the maximum basis is set to TRY 195,041.40, which is up from the minimum and maximum of TRY 20,002.50 and TRY 150,018.90 for 2024. The basis limits apply for both employee and employer social security contributions, which are generally equal to a total of 14.0% for employees and 20.5% for employers. Unemployment insurance contributions are also required at rates of 1% for employees and 2% for employers.
