Turkey published Presidential Decision No. 9368 in the Official Gazette on 28 December 2024, which extends the temporary increase in the time that qualifying personnel are allowed to spend outside Technology Development Zones and R&D and design centers, while still qualifying for related tax incentives. This includes that qualifying personnel may generally work up to 75% of total working hours outside a zone/center, while personnel engaged in informatics may work up to 100% outside. Previously extended to 31 December 2024, the temporary increase is extended by Presidential Decision No. 9368 to 31 December 2025.
