Trinidad and Tobago Signs Mutual Assistance Convention and Multilateral Exchange Agreements for CRS and CbC Reports

The OECD has announced that on 7 November 2024, Trinidad and Tobago signed the OECD-Council of Europe Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as amended by the 2010 protocol. The Convention must now be ratified by Trinidad and Tobago and the ratification instrument deposited before entering into force for the country. Along with the signing of the Mutual Assistance Convention, Trinidad and Tobago also signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (CRS-MCAA) and the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on the Exchange of Country-by-Country Reports (CbC MCAA).
